Welcome Reception

Monday 7 December 6.30pm
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre

The Welcome reception will be held Monday following the conclusion of Conference sessions. This is a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and enjoy light refreshments complemented by fine local wines.

Tickets are included in full, student and Monday day registrations. Guest tickets $65.

ECR social evening

On Monday 7th December ECRs are invited to come together for a casual meal close to the conference venue. Have a chat, make some friends, and expand your networks.

The ERGO dinner will be at the Boatbuilders Yard, 23 South Wharf Promenade, South Wharf, right outside the conference venue ( Participants will be able to wander out immediately after the welcome reception, to enjoy the atmosphere of this charming venue celebrating Melbourne’s maritime heritage. The ERGO dinner is intended to be a relaxed opportunity for casual networking. Food and drinks can be ordered at the bar.

Conference Dinner

Tuesday 8 December, 6.30pm - 9.30pm
Cargo Hall 39 South Wharf Promenade Melbourne

The Cargo Hall is Melbourne’s “oldest newest” venue. Originally built in 1875, heritage listed Cargo Hall has been carefully restored and is located only minutes from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. This will be a stand up informal function with plenty of opportunity to network.

Tickets are $110 and are an additional cost for all delegates.

Indigenous Tours

The Koorie Heritage Trust offer walking tours in the Melbourne CBD:

In addition to the walking tours, the Trust offer the Wominjeka Tour, which introduces participants to the history of the Trust.

The walking tours are generally group bookings only. For individual bookings, please contact the Trust regarding available spaces with pre-existing group bookings. While they will make all attempts to accommodate individual booking requests, these bookings will be subject to agreement from the group booking. Throughout the year, the Trust also offers tours for individuals and small groups. Please visit their What's On page for upcoming tours.
